Penny’s Adventures Recent Primary School Visits

Local Redland City primary schools celebrated ‘Literacy and Numeracy Week’ in August.

Things kicked off with a combined cross promo week with Bambini Early Childhood Centre, with the lovely Jo Tutt and Miss Shannon x2.

Penny’s Adventures was then very excited to continue the week of fun with visits to Thornlands State School, Victoria Point State School and Vienna Woods State School. Students and teachers enjoyed the story, with many interesting topics during Q & A time.

Thank you to all the dedicated curriculum staff, principals and directors and librarians for inviting us to attend. It’s encouraging to know that these educators appreciate and value the importance of equipping our children with money management skills.

Could financial literacy training and education be incorporated within the everyday classroom learning curriculum?

Could this be the beginning of a ‘New Normal’ for Australian students? If so, Penny’s Adventures is there !!!!!!!!!

Penny’s day at the WCFC 2013

Penny’s Adventures was positively embraced by the attendees and speakers at Sydney’s World Congress for Families Conference 2013.

Feedback was very encouraging, and future opportunities for both Penny’s Adventures and Joshua’s Publishing House have been highlighted.

The overriding theme of the day was that families are precious and need to be protected from environmental, financial and emotional adversity.

It was an honor to represent a company and book series specifically designed to equip children with financial life skills for future prosperity.
